Axel Ojeda

Argentinian-born and based on Waiheke Island, New Zealand, Axel Ojeda is a DJ whose sound explores the deeper shades of Deep, Organic and Progressive House.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Hernán Cattáneo, Sasha, John Digweed, Pole Folder, Guy J and GMJ & Matter, he crafts immersive journeys built on hypnotic grooves,
melodic textures and subtle progression, allowing each set to unfold with patience and intention.

Since 2021, Axel has shared the booth with artists including GMJ & Matter, Simon Vuarambon, Ezequiel Arias, Mariano Mellino, Mike Rish, Kasper Koman, Zankee Gulati,
Eichenbaum and Nila, while performing at clubs and festivals across New Zealand. These experiences continue to shape an evolving musical identity rooted in curiosity, connection
and a deep appreciation for the art of the long-form set.
Whether playing an intimate venue or a festival stage, Axel’s focus remains the same: creating space for people to lose themselves in the music.
