We made a conscience effort to clear the diary to take a bit of down time to support local. I’ve on numerous occasions dropped off guests to Sushil’s Musclechef Kitchen in Aotea and they all say how good it is. Finally had our chance to experience the dinner menu. Can highly recommend. The day menu is awesome, the place always pumps with tables turning over as people take a coffee and food hit and run off to their next appointment. The dinner experience is very unhurried, calm and relaxed. Lovely atmosphere with soft lighting and nice music played at the perfect volume. We had croquettes and the drum chicken for entrees, and the lamb shank and schnitzel as mains. Absolutely perfect in all respects, flavour, portion and presentation. We matched with the Mosiaco Rose to compliment the flavours. Topped off with the chocolate fondant and tropical cheesecake between us. The service was outstanding. Can highly recommend. Sushil is the ultimate host, a real community minded grafter and such a good man. His team are great ambassadors of his local community gem 10/10.
