To everyone involved in the 2026 Summer Fundraising Concert, thank you very much!
The performances on stage were fantastic, the volunteers epic, the audience happy, generous and uplifting and the people who donated online, even though they couldn’t make the concert, incredible.
The talented group of performers who generously gave their time for all to enjoy in aid of this fundraiser… Fusion Singing Trio- Sheree, Janice and Suzy, …T KJammers - Tony and Kevin… ZODIACK - Cherie and Carla…Kyra Mae Wilson…TONIC - Tony Lee and. Nick… Trio- Steve Crossland, Kenny and Kim and guest artists, Leo McPail and Gary Gibbs.
Bevan Holden was the fabulous sound engineer for the day.
Thank you to the Waikato District Mayor, Aksel Bech for opening the concert and to HCC Mayor Tim Macindoe for coming to support this event.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of this year's Summer Fundraising concert, from sponsors to performers to volunteers to the audience. Also those who have donated online. We had an incredible day! This is the main event for "The Suzy McPhail Initiatives" and provides the means for Suzy to carry on her valuable programmes for those living with dementia and their families to feel community is here for them and to feel connected and valued.

Last night we went on our Annual Parade of some resthomes in the outskirts of Hamilton. Tonight we visit many more. Kate Sinclair is taking my place tonight as I have a Function to go to in Auckland. I’m sure she will love it. Will send more photos but here is some from last night.

This week has been remarkable, with singing engagements at Awatere Suite and Cascades' family Christmas lunches being particular highlights. At Cascades, we initially sang for those confined to their rooms, establishing a meaningful connection with one gentleman whose smile was a notable accomplishment, eliciting an emotional response from our Host who was familiar with him. We also performed at the Children's Hospital on Monday, with some patients managing to dance briefly. The nursing staff expressed their appreciation, stating they anticipate our annual visit.

Fusion wish you a joyous Christmas. Our Christmas Concert made its debut at Summerset Rototuna Care Home yesterday. We were fortunate to have a wonderful audience. The staff's unwavering support and cheerful attitude make them a pleasure to collaborate with, and their residents are equally lovely. The afternoon was truly delightful.
