Join our District Mayor, councillors, and representatives from the RSA, and NZ Defence Force tomorrow morning for Stratford’s Dawn Parade and Service.

• Dawn Parade starting 6am, Friday 25 April
The parade will leave the Colonel Malone Gates at 6am, moving in a procession down Fenton Street, left onto Miranda Street, and finishing in front of the Cross of Sacrifice.

• Marching in the parade? Please gather at 5.40am at the Malone Gates and await instructions.

• Dawn Service followed by kai and a cuppa
Following the parade, a Dawn Service will be held in front of the Cross of Sacrifice on Miranda Street. The service will finish at around 6.50am. Please join us for a cuppa and breakfast afterwards in the Function Facility at the War Memorial Centre. All are welcome!

Not long now until King of the Mountain.

We have 32 of New Zealand’s Best teams from both the North Island and the Deep South, battling it out to be Crowned King. We also have 16 of the best Steak Cooks, sizzling it up, to see who will take home the golden Ticket and bragging rights. On top of that we have 7 kids giving it ago for our first ever Burger Competition.

On top of the competition, we will have live demos in the Traeger Grills tent & on stage, we will have a number of food carts, coffee on sale, & The Corner to quench your thirst. We have Rubs, Wood & sauces on sale and tips and tricks. Then kicking off at 12:30pm we have the big Primo FUND-RAZOR, raising funds for the Taranaki Cancer Centre.

So Mark it in the calendar 10th August from 9am until 5pm. Free for everyone to come down.

Please remeber due to food regulations, competing teams won’t be selling there food.
