Kiingitanga is an intergenerational commitment that many Waikato whaanau service with pride and admiration.

Koroneihana is a time where we all come together to ensure the people are cared for, nourished, and that everything is prepared fit for our Ariki.

While Iti Ora Flax may not be as active as it once was we continue to support kaupapa that was dear to my Nans heart, Kiingitanga being the pinnacle.

Bringing this stage to life with our Aunty Tilly in honour of those values goes without saying. But to all those walking by to offer their weaving hands, their time, energy and the stage crew for allowing some maaori ingenuity to keep it all together....He mihi maioha kia koutou - THANK YOU😁💯

Although the bouquet mahi has been on 'stop' over the years kaupapa marae allowed many hands to come together and raranga with heart.

This page and mahi was in honor of Nans teachings and kaupapa marae was her passion.
