I had the absolute honour of organising and directing the Indian Bride & Groom Fashion Show at Christchurch Diwali 2019 — a vibrant showcase of love, culture, and connection. This event beautifully represented brides and grooms from diverse Indian states, along with multicultural and rainbow couples, reflecting the true spirit of inclusion and unity. 💕🌈

Under my Marriage & Civil Union Celebrant hat, this show was close to my heart. I believe deeply in the institution of marriage — not as a formality, but as a celebration of commitment, equality, and shared humanity. Above all, I believe that Love is Love, and every couple deserves to be seen, celebrated, and respected for who they are. ❤️

✨ Tonight, I had the honour of solemnising the wedding of a wonderful Afghanistani couple. It was a truly special occasion, where love, culture, and tradition came together beautifully. ❤️💍❤️
As a celebrant, it is important to me to respect and incorporate cultural norms while also upholding the laws of Aotearoa New Zealand. Bringing these two elements together makes each ceremony meaningful, unique, and deeply personal. Congratulations to the lovely couple 💐💐
