One of the most rewarding parts of being a celebrant is meeting couples on their wedding journey, when they’re full of excitement, questions, and sometimes a little uncertainty.
Over time, I’ve noticed some questions come up again and again. Here are a few of the most common ones answered for you.
✨ How long does a ceremony usually last?
Most ceremonies fall between 20 to 30 minutes, long enough to feel meaningful but short enough to keep everyone engaged.
✨ Do we have to write our own vows?
Nope! Some couples write their own, some choose to repeat traditional vows, and others go with a mix. I help guide you through whatever feels right.
✨ Can we include or exclude religious elements?
Absolutely! Your ceremony should reflect you, if you want religious parts, great. If not, great, we can design a ceremony that’s completely personal.
✨ What if we want something really non-traditional or unique?
Love that! I’m all about helping couples create ceremonies that break the mold and truly represent their story.
✨ Is it okay if we don’t know exactly what we want yet?
Totally normal! That’s what the planning process is for, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
