Not a bad day at the office ❤️

Lalaine & Christopher were married on the 1st of August at Deer Park Heights, high above Lake Wakatipu — snow on the Remarkables, the lake like glass, and the most beautiful setting for their vows.

There’s always that quiet moment just before the vows where everything feels very real… and yes, I had the tissues ready ❤️Such a privilege to stand alongside them and be part of it all

From Zanzibar’s warm, winding alleyways… to standing in fresh snow on The Remarkables just days later 🥶

This past week has held such contrast — colour, culture, heat… and then stillness, white skies, and the quiet magic of a heliwedding.

No guests, no distractions — just two people, their vows, and a moment that felt completely their own.

And one of those small, beautiful connections I didn’t expect… the pilot who flew us into the mountains was part of the couple we had just spent three weeks travelling alongside in East Africa.

The world has a way of weaving stories together when you least expect it.

It’s such a privilege to step into these spaces — so different, yet both centred on connection, meaning, and story.

There’s something quietly magical about a wedding that ends with a picnic by the water… 🥂

After their heartfelt ceremony on Vanguard we flew to Lochnagar, where Daniel and Kelsey wandered down to the lake’s edge, where a picnic blanket, a beautifully styled hamper, and a bottle of bubbles were waiting just for them.

No rush. No noise. Just the two of them, soaking in that just-married feeling in one of the most breathtaking places imaginable.

As their celebrant, I had the privilege of standing alongside them as they made their promises — and then watching them step into this next chapter in the most relaxed, joy-filled way.

This is what I love most… creating space for moments that feel completely and utterly you 🤍

A stunning Friday in Fiordland.

Two helicopters, their closest family, and a ceremony filled with meaning.

Jill’s mother spoke so beautifully, and their vows were deeply heartfelt — the kind that hold everyone quietly in the moment.

As their celebrant, I felt incredibly honoured to stand with them in such a special place, witnessing a ceremony that was intimate, emotional, and truly their own.

A very special beginning.

There’s something incredibly special about being invited into a moment like this. 🏔️🤍

As their celebrant, I had the privilege of standing alongside these two as they chose each other in the most simple and meaningful way — surrounded by the mountains of Queenstown.

Just the two of them, no distractions, only intention and love.

And the florals… absolutely exquisite. Thoughtfully chosen and perfectly at home in that landscape, created by the very talented team at aMoment styling.

There’s something very special about a couple who choose a day that feels entirely their own — and Travis & Melody did exactly that.

I had the absolute privilege of standing alongside them as their celebrant, witnessing a ceremony that was as joyful, vibrant, and heartfelt as the two of them.

Melody’s vision of lemon yellow wasn’t about following a trend — it was about honouring who she is. Warm, spontaneous, and quietly confident. Every detail reflected that beautifully, from soft buttery tones through to rich golden hues… and yes, even the yellow carrots.

Their ceremony felt light, full of laughter, and deeply personal — the kind that reminds everyone present what a wedding is truly about: love, connection, and a shared sense of joy.

Queenstown offered the mountains, and Travis & Melody brought the sunshine.

A big thank you to the wonderful team at aMoment for their incredible talent and skill in bringing this day to life 💛
