This fascinating miniature landscape covers 1/4 acre where you can enjoy amazing detail at every turn.Our trains are G scale models of some of the first steam locomotives. Gardens:

Relax and enjoy your time in the 2 acres of beautiful gardens, sheltered by 100 year old trees. We have a play area, trampoline, Petanque and backyard cricket or just relax in the hammocks under our Walnut tree.There i

s plenty of parking, the property is flat with easy access around the trains and garden. We have 300 lavender plants which we use to extract lavender oil. There is also a veggie patch and orchard to wander around. Groups:

Bring along a picnic or enjoy a woodfired pizza in the garden. Pizzas available only on Sundays. Loco is the ideal venue for:-Birthday Parties-School trips-Holiday programmes-Club outings-Weddings-Family get togethers-Enquire about catering options. Prices:

Admission charges: Adult $12, Child, 1-18 years old $8, Senior 60+ $8. Remote control train $2. Woodfired pizzas $15 each, only on Sundays. NO EFTPOS AVAILABLE.

After 19 years of owning and 14 years of living in this beautiful home, it's time to say goodbye. It's been an amazing place to bring up our 3 children, with so many wonderful memories. It's now time for another family to enjoy it.

We are sorry to inform everyone but due to major damage to the model railway, we will not be able to open on the 1st of October. Please keep an eye on our page for updates. Thanks Simone and David

We are open every day until Waitangi Day and including from 11am to 4pm. Come along and bring a picnic in the sheltered gardens. After that we will be open every Sunday and then every day in the April school holidays.

The Wellington Train Club will be visiting this Sunday 12 January 2020 with their amazing trains, come along, pack a picnic and spend the day. See you all there

It has just starting raining and seems like the forecast is for a lot more on the way. Loco will be closed today. See you next week. We will be open every day from Saturday 14 December, except Christmas and a Boxing Day.

The Wellington Train Cub has cancelled their visit to Loco today due to the weather. Loco will still be open but it is weather dependent. It’s not raining at the moment. The Train Club will reschedule for January, we will let you know.
