Huge news from Team Awamoa…
We’ve SOLD our business! 🕺✨

After five wild years of septic tanks, portaloos, and endless crazy adventures,
we’re so proud to say we’ve passed the torch to the incredible crew at
Laser Plumbing & LuxLoos of Ōamaru 🌴

We are so thrilled for Shane & Hayley, we’ve worked closely with them for these past 5 years, they are awesome and will absolutely hit the ground running with Awamoa ♥️
We look forward to handing Awamoa over to them with love in the coming weeks.

When we bought Awamoa Sanitation, she was a bit of an underdog, Sean & Anna have worked their butts off (literally) to give her the biggest glow-up imaginable.
From rebranding and rebuilding to earning the trust of our community, we’re beyond proud of what we’ve achieved.

A massive thank-you to our agents ABC for helping us sell in under a month (!!) and to everyone who’s supported us through this crazy ride.

We can’t wait to hand over to Laser & LuxLoos and step into our next adventure, whatever that may be.

🌿🚽 Septic banter at its best! 🚽🌿

One of my favourite parts
of our wild and wacky job
is chatting with our wonderful customers.

Especially those calls where I get to gently remind someone that it’s been 3 years since their last septic tank pump-out… and ask if they’d like us to send the truck over.

But the real highlight?
Ending the call with a cheeky:
✨ “Happy pooping!” ✨

No one quite knows how to respond…
but we all end up laughing.

Today, I said it to Sarah
and without missing a beat she replied,
“You too.” 😂
Absolute gold. Laughs all round.

👉 Life’s too short not to find joy in the job,
even if it involves… well, 💩

This week, we were reminded
why we do what we do
to help keep our town running ✨

Huge shoutout to the
Waitaki Water Treatment Plant operators
for the kind words 😀
and for trusting Awamoa Sanitation
to jump in and help when things
were getting a bit… 💦 dicey.

We spent a few days working flat out alongside their awesome team to keep Ōamaru’s water supply flowing, and it means a lot to be recognised.

We got an invoice the other day and the company had us down as...

Awamoa Sanitation Services = A.S.S.

We felt instant regret that we hadn't called ourselves this from the beginning, just imagine the potential 🤣

We handle the mess
so you don’t have to
and we do it with style, sunshine,
and just the right amount of ridiculous.
Don’t tempt us,
we will put this on a hat.
And yes,
we’re dead serious about sanitation...
even if we look like walking emojis. 🤎
