I design and make Dance Costumes for children and young adults - Waltz & Slow Tap, Barefoot, Lyrical, Acro, Jazz and Tap, also basic leotards, shorts, skirts and accessories for young dancers. With a large stock of colour matched Lycra and Fabrics, Lace and Trimmings, Motifs and Sparkly Embellishments, Flowers and Feathers, and three different grades of rhinestones to choose from.

Tutu for a Ballet Solo or Lilac Fairy Variation.
Size 11 - 14 years depending on build.

Carefully worn and stored, this lilac, lavender and silver tutu I made in 2023 is in an immaculate, as new condition and is now looking for a new owner.

Fully lined lilac lycra bodice and lavender panty with a 9 layer skirt colour graded from light to dark using a mix of both Italian and Australian nets.

All decorations have been hand stitched and I dyed the lace appliqués to tone with the darker panty lycra. There is a silver decorative layer under the top plate to enhance the silver venise lace edging and add extra sparkle. Rhinestones are a mix of Arabesque and Preciosa in several different colours.

Made with a small amount of extra growing room when the dancer measured Chest/Bust 29” (77cm), Waist 24” (61cm), Hip 32” (81cm), Girth 53.5” (136cm)

I also have a new Lilac Fairy tiara available (not made for this dancer) that matches the tutu beautifully and is available for purchase separately.
