🏆 Tuatahi First Fibre Under 19’s National Tournament – Groups and Full Draw Announcement! ⚽️

The wait is over! Here are the groups for each of the three divisions in this year’s Tuatahi First Fibre Under 19’s National Tournament.

💪 Go Hawke’s Bay Men’s Main Group

💪 Men’s Satellite Group

The tournament kicks off at 9:00am on Saturday, 25th October, running through to the finals on Monday, 27th October.

Make sure you jump online and check out when and where your teams are playing!

👉 Games on Fields 1–6 and Bluewater Stadium will be live-streamed via Sportway – more details to come closer to the tournament.

Sponsored senior teams celebrated the season finishing a few weeks ago and here are all the winners from the evening.
Congratulations to all the winners from an unforgettable evening! 🏆✨
The night was hosted by our Chairman, Russell Booth, with a fun Simpsons-themed Award Ceremony that brought plenty of laughs and smiles. It was a fantastic celebration of achievement, enjoyed by all who attended. 💙

Don’t forget to head down to Bluewater Stadium today at 3pm to watch The Thirsty Whale Restaurant and Bar NCR Under 17’s play against Taradale AFC, both the bar and kitchen will be open. 💙🐬⚽️

Central – Capital U17 Series set to kick off this weekend |

Over the next month, clubs from the Central region will test their skills against their counterparts from the Capital region in the inaugural Central/Capital U17 Series.

This competition was established through close collaboration between both Federations, following the disestablishment of the Boys National League, to ensure players in this age group continue to have meaningful opportunities to compete.

While still in its early stages, the series represents a step towards building a stronger development pathway. Both Federations are committed to cementing this event in the calendar from 2026 onward, with the potential for even more Federations to join in future editions.

Introducing the leadership group for The Thirsty Whale Restaurant and Bar Napier City Rovers side who will compete in the Capital / Central Under 17 competition beginning this weekend

Head Coach - Shane McKenzie commented on the announcement shortly after telling the players:

“Liam, Alex and Joel have worked hard all season in our environment. They understand what we want in terms of effort, the shape we want to play and the standards required to play at Napier City Rovers. It just made sense to give these lads the opportunity to lead the group. I’m sure they will do well and hope that they enjoy the privilege.”

The 17’s kick off their campaign vs Taradale AFC at Bluewater Stadium this Sunday. Kick off is at 3pm. Get down and watch the future stars of this club!

The Thirsty Whale Restaurant and Bar NCR Women’s Div 1 side have made the Fed Cup Final, and we’re heading to Palmerston North! 🏆💙⚽

We’re putting on a 40-seater supporters’ bus to make this an epic away day – and we want YOU there with us!

📅 Date: Saturday, 27th September

📍 Final Venue: Massey University, Palmerston North

🕑 Kick-off: 2:00pm

🚌 Bus Departure: 10:00am from Napier City Rovers Clubrooms (returning later that evening)
