Tahu is known for creating lovely culinary and dining experiences. The cuisine, stylish interior and beachside sunset location can’t be beat. But you might’ve noticed that when the dinner dishes are taken away, they turn into something slightly different. And next month, you have the chance to watch the transformation up close as DJ Kay and DJ Hurricane’s 80’s Night turns Tahu into a high energy, velvet-roped, night spot.

DJ Kay (Gisborne) and DJ Hurricane (Hawkes Bay) have been on the scene for a decade, playing local and international gigs across Aotearoa, Australia and Asia. Over the last three years, they’ve perfected this 80s Night event as they toured it around NZ. It celebrates the best of the 80s and the people who love those tunes. As DJ Kay notes, “the people who attend our events are there for absolute good vibes only.”

DJ Kay and DJ Hurricane upgrade their tribute to a decade of bangers with a velvet rope vibe that elevates the night. And they’re giving away some of that VIP treatment in the lead-up to the event.
