Bonjour! We also cater for private events. A bientot! At Excuse My French, the crepe makers, we create fresh sweet and savoury crepes to order while you wait.

For over 20 years we have been delighting clients with our authentic French sweet and savoury crepes served from our mobile food trailer at markets and events around Wellington and Wairarapa. We have been bringing a little bit of France to New Zealand since 2002 and you will find us at a number of markets, fairs and private functions around the Wellington region, including:

* On Thursdays at the

Thursday Night Food Truck Market (Masterton Town Hall square), and
* On Sundays at the Harbourside Market (next to Te Papa in Wellington). As well as weekly specials, our menu (ranging from $5-10) includes:

Sweet crepes – sugar, lemon and sugar, Nutella, Belgian chocolate, cinnamon and sugar, lemon curd, Anathoth raspberry jam, honey, maple syrup, caramel, crepe suzette (flambéed), Grand Marnier, strawberry coulis, toasted almonds, toasted coconut, banana and freshly whipped cream. Savoury crepes – ham, cheese, and Excuse My French’s own tomato provencal (tomatoes, garlic, onions and fresh herbs reduced down into a rich, tasty tomato sauce), or a combination of any of these. We are pleased to provide an EFT-PoS facility for customers including PayWave and credit (small surcharge applies).

Bonjour little crepe lovers!

Needing a crepey fix this weekend? Here's where you'll find us:

:-) Gather Wairarapa in the beautiful Solway Showgrounds Masterton A & P Association. Unique hand-crafted goods, fresh produce, hot food and coffee and all provided by over 30 local stall holders. The market runs 9am-1pm every Saturday. Come and give it a nudge.

:-) On Sunday we'll be at our usual spot in Harbourside Market in Welly. This has to be the best outdoor market in NZ! Fresh produce, food stalls galore, excellent buskers and more. Make a date with a mate and come and hang. What's the rush?

Bonjour little lovers of all things crepey and here's where your crepey fix is at this weekend:

:-) You won't find any shopping malls in the Wairarapa (and we like it that way don't we?) but if you need some indoor shopping this Saturday come visit Gather Wairarapa 9am-1pm at the beautiful Solway Showgrounds Masterton A & P Association. Over 30 stalls and getting bigger every week, there's something for everyone. Plenty of parking directly adjacent to the main hall, hot food and drinks and many lovely, jubbly things to buy inside and out.

:-) On Sunday at Harbourside Market from approx 7:30am til noon. On a sunny day we always sell out early so please be mindful. Harbourside Market is the BEST outdoor market in NZ with fresh produce, foodie stalls galore and live entertainment. Start your week the right way.

Bonjour little crepe lovers!

Are you like us? We are loving the longer daylight hours now we are past the shortest day but not entirely grateful for the moisture and breezes. C'est la vie!

Despite all that, here's where you can get your crepey fix this weekend:

:-) Friday Night Food Trucks Pahiatua tonight (Friday) 4:30-7pm on the cnr of Main and Tararua Sts Pahiatua where we'll be joined by our mates Flame 'N' Flavour, Toastie Boy , The Hungry Giraffe and Grillhaus (new last month and a big hit!).

:-) At Gather Wairarapa on Saturday from 9am-1pm. Gather is the new look and feel Wairarapa Farmers' Market which (thanks to some smart young peeps) has been revamped with wonderful new things being added every week. Haven't been for a while? Come and check it out and grab a coffee and a crepe while you're browsing (it's never too early to put pressies aside for Christmas). There's plenty of parking in the beautiful Solway Showgrounds Masterton A & P Association ... what's the rush please? Enjoy some time out, please.

:-) Harbourside Market on Sunday from approx 7:30am until noonish. Harbourside Market has to be NZ's biggest and best outdoor market, right in the heart of the capital. Enjoy a stroll around the harbour before settling down at the market for great foods and entertainment. And don't forget to visit Conscious Valley butcher - you might have seen them on Country Calendar - they have won several golds and silvers in industry awards recently so they're doing something right.

And what a superb day it is in the mighty Wai today. Perfect for a crepe and a wander at Gather Wairarapa - previously known as the Wairarapa Farmers' Market, a group of smart young peeps have revamped the market with new things popping up all the time. Worth a visit. You'll find Marc at the market (in the Solway Showgrounds Masterton A & P Association today serving from now until 1pmish.

Tomorrow Marc and Adele will be back at Harbourside Market in Welly from approx 7:30am until noonish. The weather is forecast jolly good so plan for an early start, grab your fresh produce and breakfast or brunch on the go.
