What a week it’s been, in the midst of a very snowy Tekapo & “thousands” of visitors to the region, we held a most beautiful wedding, on a most beautiful day, made all the more special, because the bride was my one & only Daughter ♥️ such a privilege & a huge personal honour to be her Celebrant & with her permission, I’m able to create this post.

With a lakeside venue, simple rustic style setting & a cheeky helicopter pilot & good friend sweeping the bride over the guests as if to say, “not today Josephine”, Chevaane Nicholson landed in style, ready to make her way up the aisle. Her flower girl replicated a wee angel in the snow (daughter, 2 year old “Indie”) & a very handsome, 4 year old son & Page Boy “Max”, both stealing the show, the photographs giving a glimpse of such a fabulous day. Our Groom, Nicholson, itching to spin around & see his bride, was more nervous than I’ve ever known him to be, soon to forget the nerves, the second he laid eyes on his bride.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day & Tekapo is now nestled in our hearts, as the very special place we Kiwis are so fortunate to have, among the length & breadth of our New Zealand landscape. We all journeyed from Hawkes Bay & Tekapo, you turned it on…. ♥️
