Tonight's the night to head to Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery. The museum will be open until 9pm for their monthly Open Late session! 🎨✨

Head to Te Whare Taonga o Waikato's Matariki celebrations over the next two days for a full schedule of Matariki events! 💜

Here's what's happening:

Tomorrow: Open 10am to 5pm

All day: Waipunarangi Star Trail ✨
All day: Hands-on family activities
11am Kapa haka performance from Te Haona Kaha
11.30am Free weaving workshop with Wikitoria Tuhakaraina
2pm Free weaving workshop with Wikitoria Tuhakaraina

Saturday: Haa ki Waho - Open 10am to 5pm

All day: Waipunarangi Star Trail ✨
10am: Public opening of exhibition '843 to the 855', an exhibition showcasing the creativity of communities connected with Te Whare Kookonga (Melville), Glenview Community Centre (Glenview), Te Whānau Pūtahi (Fairfield) and Te Whare o Te Ata (Fairfield).
11.30am to 3.30pm: Community workshops, music, and performances coordinated by Creative Waikato in support of the exhibition '843 to the 855'.
