When you choose us to help plan your marriage proposal, it’s never just about the beautiful setting. It’s about creating a moment that feels meaningful, deeply personal—and entirely unforgettable.

This couple were travelling New Zealand in a campervan on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. He wanted to propose somewhere private, romantic, and truly special. While Lake Tekapo is a popular choice, I knew it wouldn’t guarantee the privacy he was hoping for—so I suggested another lake I knew there was an area only accessible by a short walk, along a trodden track we created.

She loved Disney, so we wove that into the experience—placing a series of beautiful quotes about love and adventure that reflected their journey and included Disney characters, to create the track. Each one built anticipation, added a sense of wonder, and gently guided them towards the spot where it would all unfold.

Next she discovered a path of scattered rose petals, that led her to the lakefront gazebo, styled just for them, with fresh florals, and personalised signage to set the scene. We’d also secretly collected photos from their hotel and strung them inside the gazebo—turning it into a visual love story. Along with a gourmet picnic for two, and a photographer hiding nearby to capture the moment she said “yes.”
