Mangamaunu Retreat Elopements planned and coordinated by Wild Union Co

The full venue sleeps 11 offering the perfect space for a getaway for you and your special people.

With Wild Union Co, our mission is to make the lead up to your wedding/elopement and planning as stress-free and painless as possible. That’s why when you book with us we take care of all the details.

The process is simple:

1. Spend 15mins approx. filling in the booking form
2. We check availability with the vendors
3. Once we’ve confirmed availability we will send you one invoice (yes one invoice for all vendors), and two contracts.
4. Simply pay your deposit, sign your contracts and your wedding is booked and ready to go!

We had some photos of one of our weddings feature in a local magazine print this past week which is so exciting!

Jason and Julia got married at The Starling Homestead with my team and it was definitely a day to remember for their Waipara Micro Wedding!

We helped them plan their whole wedding, so they could stress less, enjoy the lead up to the wedding and actually be present on their wedding day!

And they left us a beautiful review too:

Let’s talk catering! Here at we prioritise food because good food makes for a great event and happy guests!

For Jason and Julia’s micro wedding in December at they opted in for breakfast platters, afternoon post ceremony grazing, and a delicious buffet dinner and guests were thrilled (overheard many say how good the food was which we love to hear!)

Zoe from is a favourite and she’s one of our go to caterers here at WUC!

Just look at all that colour, you just know the flavour is divine!

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here to check out my wonderful team here at

My heart has always been to make wedding planning something that’s as stress free as possible for all couples and so Wild Union Co does exactly that! We started in May of 2025 and within a week we launched, and within the last 9 months we’ve had 7 beautiful couples trust us with their special day! And it’s been an honour to say the least!

Anyway without further a do, let me introduce you to my fabulous team! Each one hand picked for personality, quality of service and all around wonderful!

Our venues:
(currently not available to book while they prepare for a new babe)

the most stunning private mountain and river access location
retreat breathtaking beach and alpine views in a quiet dark sky reserve (meaning you can see the stars so clearly with the naked eye)

A few moments from today’s Lake Tekapo Elopement! It has been an absolutely stunning day here in the sunshine and we’re about to head out the door for some sunset photos in a field of lupines!

Our couple this time have requested that they be kept anonymous so we will only be sharing the details shots from this elopement, but gosh look how stunning these florals and details all turned out!! (Pretty proud of myself for pulling such a stunning bridal bouquet together)!
