☀️ Jokes aside, even though the rain is going to clear for us, clear skies means cold nights! -3 degrees even 🥶

The hall will be cozy, and the bunk rooms do have heaters, but the rooms will still be cold at night. Pack your warmest sleeping bag, hot water bottle, slippers, gumboots, warm winter coats, and remember to hug your friends for warmth🤗

Firstly, the Poipoi Thrival Guide has been sent out to all ticket holders. If you have bought multiple tickets under one name, please forward the guide on to your friend, partner, family member etc.

Secondly, because of the recent heavy rain ☔️ around Waimate, gunnsbushcamp has let us know that the river that the Camp normally fills its tanks from has flooded and is not running clear. This means the water supply is less abundant than it’s been in previous years.

Campers - if you are able, please bring a full water container from home for your personal water supply.

Everyone - please keep showers short n sweet, and be mindful of water usage when washing up.

We will provide plenty of water containers full of clean drinking water that will be available throughout the event.

In other news - the skies are looking sunny 🌞 and clear for the weekend ahead and we can’t wait to see you at the camp ☺️

For many of us, finding ourselves on a stage with a microphone is the stuff of nightmares - Angelo Swan felt the same way until one of his mentors called him up to sing in front of an audience of hundreds for the first time. He and his fear stepped forward and learned to alchemize fear into faith - since then it’s been his mission to help others find their unique voice and unlock their superpower.

Angelo’s workshop “Fear to Faith - Find Your Voice” is for Kids of all ages, and uses Adventure Based Learning to bring us into our bodies through various trust exercises, circus games, and sonic activations.

Join Angelo on Saturday arvo (or leave your tamariki in his capable hands) to explore the nooks and crannies of playful authentic expression.
