Offering phone charging stations is just a modern way of looking after your guests and their needs so they can keep snapping away and helping capture your special day.
Serve late night snacks....
Yes you’re having dinner and dessert, but those are typically devoured hours before the reception actually ends, and with couples extending their parties later and later, it’s likely that more than a few of your guests will be thinking of a tasty late night snack. You could have your caterer bring out handheld options like sliders and fries, mini grilled cheeses, or coffee and donuts about an hour before the reception ends to revive revellers.
Put a different spin on your guest book - like having each guest sign a customised Jenaga block or having people take Polaroids and sign them or have them sign one of the many corks that make up a heart.
Use your imagination and create a fun way to be able to look back at who helped celebrate your special day.
No one wants your wedding night to end, but since it has to, go out on a high note.
Do a fun and festive farewell, like a fireworks show, sparkler exit or a confetti send-off.
Your guests will love it, and it will make for some amazing photos!
Create a unique hashtag just for your special day.
Encourage your guests to get involved and help share their take of the day. Hidden moments that you’d otherwise may not have seen will forever be captured and there for you to look back on.
The key to having your wedding hashtag on everybody’s fingertips is by making it simple, quirky, and easy to remember. If your wedding hashtag is too complicated, long, or tricky; the chances are that people would not memorize it and then may not use it.
Place on your hashtag on your social media profiles, wedding invites and also display at your reception.
Know that it’s ok to skip any and all wedding events and traditions that don’t feel right to you.
Playing wedding games when guests need a break from dancing, what’s more fun than oversized Jenga, backgammon or pick up sticks, they’re a great way for friends and family to interact with each other.
Speeches are a necessary component of any wedding, but it’s important to ensure they don’t drag on for too long. Keep the toasts brief - no more than a few minutes per person - and have your DJ or MC prepared to make tasteful cut-offs.
