Hey, My name is Rebecca, I am the owner of Vintage Boudoir Boutique based in Ashburton in my beautiful Villa home studio. I have been a professional Makeup Artist for over 22 Years and a Photographer for nearly as long. With a love of vintage clothing that has now grown into an extensive collection as well as an obsession with Vintage Wedding Gowns, this has now developed into my business VBB.

A little update… You may have noticed a name change!

Vintage Bo***ir Boutique is now Heirloom Vintage Boutique.
I wanted a name that better fits the direction I’m heading and what I’m creating: vintage wedding gowns, beautiful vintage pieces, photography, styling, and preserving the stories behind special items.
Lots happening behind the scenes, and I’m looking forward to sharing more soon😍

Thought I would share with you some of the history of this stunning gown from 1939.
It is the most beautiful fabric, an ivory ninon ( researching this) and embossed velvet. I can only imagine how beautiful it would have been new reading the description from the paper of the day. I was lucky to be sent copies of the original wedding day photographs along with details of the day. ❤️
