Join us for a concert hosted by Juliana Rodrigues(Brazil) and Enji Erkhembayar (Mongolia/Germany), Maria Fajardo(Spain) and the Rajamati Choir (Nepal). Raging from 3 different continents and collaborating with national and international musicians, the concert will showcase both their original music, arrangements and music written by and for women. An evening of Modern Jazz and Brazilian music with deep roots in folk traditions. Join us to discover the diverse work of the women currently at the center of this music.

To kick off the Katjazz festival 2024, Pianists Javier Galiana and Juliana Rodrigues will host an evening of solo piano repertoire.

Javier Galiana (Cádiz, Spain) has performed worldwide. Leading his own group and playing with the Andalusia Big Band since 2011. He's composed music for theater and big band, winning awards such as the Lorca for musical composition. He has performed with notable bands like Manu Chao's.

Juliana Rodrigues, a Brazilian pianist and composer, with two albums, "Vive" and "Mnemosine," she fuses diverse influences of Jazz, improvised music and Brazilian styles. She is also a part of the women-only samba group Dona da Rua.
