At ELC International, we are guided by our core values:
respect, professionalism, inclusion, safety and integrity.

We do not take political positions lightly.
But there are moments where remaining silent would conflict with the values we stand for.

After careful consideration, ELC International stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people and takes distance from the actions carried out by the State of Israel against civilians.

This is a values-based decision, not a statement against individual artists or performers.
We recognise that individuals are not governments.

However, given the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe, ELC International has decided that Israeli entries will not be invited to participate in local ELC finals or the ELC International Grand Finale at this time.

We make this decision with seriousness and care, fully aware of its weight.
Our commitment remains to human dignity, safety and integrity — for all people.
