World Master Pianists looks back with gratitude on an extraordinary week with Grigory Sokolov in Belgium and the Netherlands. From Beethoven and Schubert to the six substantial encores that have become an eagerly anticipated hallmark of a Sokolov recital, each evening unfolded with remarkable intensity and concentration, drawing audiences into a world where time seemed to stand still.
