City love shoot in one of their favorite places - Utrecht.

A city they return to time and time again for lunches, cinema dates and walks along the canals. This summer, I’ll have the honor of capturing their wedding day at the beautiful and just by holding their invitation I already know it will be something special. A day filled with intention and many thoughtful details, all planned and envisioned by the creative bride 🤍

Still can’t quite believe this one… 🤍
One of my dance images was awarded by !

What I love most about this photo is the feeling. The kind of energy where my bridal couple and guests forget the camera is even there.
And honestly, that kind of atmosphere doesn’t happen by accident.

A few things I’ve seen make a real difference at wedding parties and that I love to share after years of wedding party experiences:

• Keep the dance floor a little smaller than you think - it brings people together and instantly feels more alive. There‘s actually a little secret: the lower the ceiling, the bigger the party!
• Make sure the bar is close (not closed 😉- no one wants to leave the party for too long to get a new drink)
• Invest in great music - whether it’s a live band or an exceptional DJ, it changes everything
• And most importantly: be present! Your energy sets the tone for everyone else on your wedding day!

I couldn’t have wished for a better start of this wedding season with this wonderful couple M&W!
So much love, incredible speeches, running through fields of gold, lots of music and a never ending dance floor. We had the best weather and their love was mirrored by their beautiful families and friends.

Mr & Mrs Pelzer on their beautifully international wedding day captured on film and digital. 🎞️🤍

The two had their celebration across multiple locations. Deapite the scale it was such a joy to spend this day beside and her exceptional team who handled everything with effortless grace (and there were quiet some challenges like a full church and microphones that refused to work so another reason why wedding planners will make sure you can fully enjoy).

During my first call with I & J, bride told me: ‘We’ve known each other since high school, and he’s always been there for me. We are lovers, but above all, best friends.’ Yup, these beautiful quotes I write down because to me it’s what makes my couples so special. The way they talk about each other and their values.

Their wedding day was exactly a description of their love. I could breath their love for each other and their family, observed those quiet little moments, and felt so much love between the two. It felt so real… just like their relationship.

Looking through their photos, I can see it, their guests could see it and I hope you can feel it too.
