She bought 100 umbrellas for her outdoor ceremony… ☔️

But when the forecast promised torrential rain, Lelie and Jessy had to move their wedding ceremony inside — into the beautiful chapel of Kasteel de Haar.

Lelie has Dutch roots, but she and Jessy travelled all the way from the United States to celebrate their wedding here in the Netherlands, surrounded by their family and friends.

And as a true Swiftie, there could only be one song for her entrance: Enchanted by Taylor Swift, performed live by our string quartet. 🤍

Perhaps the rain had other plans for a reason… Just look at this entrance.

Quiet luxury isn't about spending more.

It's about needing less.

No rush.
No pressure.
No endless programme.

Just family, friends, beautiful gardens, wonderful food, one photographer and live music that quietly became part of the day.

Only at the very beginning did I discover that Lisa's father was someone who had booked us years ago for two company anniversary celebrations, and later recommended us for her brother's wedding.

Lisa never mentioned it.

Somehow, that said everything about this family.

Congratulations, Lisa & Gijs. Thank you for letting us be part of a day where nothing had to happen, yet everything felt exactly right. 🤍
