WHEN HOUSE AND ACID HOUSE MADE ITS ENTRANCE IN THE LATE 80’S IN HIS NATIVE HOME OF THE NETHERLANDS, DONAES WAS INTRIGUED BY THIS NEW WAVE OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC. HE STARTED LOOKING FOR INSTRUMENTS TO MAKE A BRIDGE BETWEEN INSTRUMENTAL AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC. ART OF NOISE, KRAFTWERK, JEAN MICHEL JARRE WERE SOME OF THE FIRST ARTISTS THAT USED KEYBOARDS AND SAMPLES AND INSPIRED DONAES TO FURTHER EXPLORE ELECTRONIC MUSIC.
IN 1991 INSPIRED BY THE THE DRUM PARTIES ON BENIRRAS BEACH IN IBIZA, DONAES FOCUSED ON INTEGRATING LIVE PERCUSSION WITH HOUSE MUSIC ESTABLISHING AN EXCITING INTERNATIONAL MUSIC CAREER PERFORMING AT MAJOR MUSIC FESTIVALS LIKE SENSATION, MYSTERYLAND, INNERCITY, AND THE WORLD MUSIC CONFERENCES IN MIAMI.

IN 2005 WHILE LIVING IN PARIS HE WAS NOTICED BY THE A LIST LUXURY FASHION SCENE FOR HIS EXCITING TASTE IN MUSIC AND NATURAL TALENT AS A DJ, DONAES AND SOON BECAME A HOT LIST DJ FOR INTERNATIONAL FASHION PARTY’S AND SHOWS.
IN 2010 DONAES MOVED TO BARCELONA AND BECAME THE WEEKLY RESIDENT DJ AT THE CLUB SHOKO.
WHILE DJING FOR MANY INTERNATIONAL CLUB BOOKINGS IN THAILAND, JAPAN, AND SOUTH AMERICA, IBIZA THE MECCA OF DANCE MUSIC DEMANDED A PERMANENT HOME WITH WEEKLY RESIDENCIES IN KM5 AND PACHA.
HIS SPIRITUAL STUDIES OF OVER 30 YEARS GAVE FOUNDATION FOR HIS MISSION TO HELP HUMANITY THOUGH HIS MUSIC AND AS AN INSTRUCTOR OF MEDITATION AND ENERGY HEALING. AN AVID SWIMMER AND YOGI WITH CHARMING CHARISMA, WISDOM AND SENSITIVITY, CONTINUALLY ACTING ON HIS DESIRE TO HELP OTHERS ALSO GROW IN THEIR FIELD OF CREATIVITY, HE ESTABLISHED A THRIVING COMPANY 'IBIZA SPINNERS' A DEDICATED DJ AND MUSIC TALENT BOOKING AGENCY.

Playing the deep and tech sounds of house music. Nowadays Titus Live is playing in exclusive hotels and clubs in Amsterdam, such as the W Hotel, Mad Fox, Escape and the Butcher (The World’s 10 Best Secret Bars by Forbes). Paul Sparkes has been immersed in the world of electronic dance music for over 25
years.
This British DJ has clocked up some serious air miles by performing in the US, Israel,
India, Germany, Dubai, Russia, Bahrain, Finland, Croatia, Belgium, Bonaire and a slew
of other exotic destinations.

Armed with the latest cutting- edge music, he has rocked the cream of the world ́s clubs
including Pacha New York, SXSW Austin, Rise Boston, Ministry of Sound London, Club
d'Anvers Belgium, Blue Marlin Ibiza and more. Closer to home, he is resident DJ and
promoter of Floorplay, a monthly night that’s been going strong for over 11 years at the
legendary Club NL in Amsterdam.

As a producer he has released on renowned labels such as San Francisco ́s Loöq
Records, Omid 16B́s Sexonwax label, NYC's seminal Nervous Records, UK's Baroque
Recordings and Ray Okpara ́s AMA records. He has also signed tracks to Under No
Illusion Recordings and Slovakia’s Seta Recordings, Paolo Martini ́s Polar Noise
Records from Italy and Horatio’s Natural Rhythm recordings out of Romania.
2020 saw him release on Collective Machine’s label with a two tracker, and Paul's debut
release on Dave Seaman’s Selador Recordings is out now, entitled Hour of Wonk.
Paul is also resident DJ of Amsterdam's floating Wattrworld festival, playing on tall ships
every month alongside Sasha, Patrice Baumel, 16 Bit Lolitas and many more. He will
also tour the US and Eastern Europe for November 2022.
Paul continues with the same hard work, commitment, enjoyment and passion for his
music as he did a quarter of a century ago.
