The CEO/President of Bashlykes Sports House & Event Center, Owerri, Chief Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena "Nwachimereze" has extolled the outstanding performance of two Imo state born Falcon players, Desire Oparanozie and Goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie.
Bash as he is fondly called made the expression recently when he hosted the two Super Falcon players at his Bashlykes Sports House in New Owerri.
"This amazing women have always been a source of inspiration to the upcoming players following their humble beginning and their steady rise in their football career.
"Both are indeed illustrious daughters of Imo State who in their chosen career have continued to be worthy ambassadors and influential positively.
"I wish to commend them for their humility and total dedication to their career and I want use this medium to urge the young players to emulate their examplary character.
Nnadozie who is the Super Falcons number one goalkeeper is plying her professional career in Paris FC in France while Awamom born Oparanozie is currently playing professional football in China haven left France after last season.
Meanwhile, former Heartland FC Chairman, Chief Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena has given tips that would help Heartland management team to return the Owerri darling side back to NPFL.
"It really pains me that our club once again got relegated but I wish to urge the management on ways the team can make a quick return back to the elite league.
"They must make the players welfare a paramount priority in other to keep them motivated.
During my time as chairman, we experienced the relegation distraction but because of determination and commitment towards bringing the club back to the leagues echelon, we employed the means of taking good care of players Welfare and ensured the right type of players at that time were recruited and treated well to motivate them and I feel if the present management can emulate such gesture, the club stands a chance of returning to NPFL.

Anyansi – Agwu Storms Bashlyks Sports House
Extols Etuemena’s Sports Managerial Qualities
The First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu has paid a visit to the fledgling hospitality cm sports arena in Owerri, the Bashlyks Sports House.
Anyansi-Agwu who is also the Chairman of the ‘Aba Elephants,’ Enyimba Int’l Football Club was received on arrival at the centre on Tuesday by the Chairman of Bashlyks Sports House, Chief Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena a.k.a. Bash who expressed appreciation at such an august visit by the NFF second in command.
In his own speech, Anyansi-Agwu extolled the managerial qualities of Bash who is a former Chairman of Heartland Football Club of Owerri. He said the host had proved himself to be a competent sports administrator when he managed Heartland FC out of many troubled waters which included promotion back to the Premier league in 2018.
Anyansi-Agwu said Bash’s tenure as the Chairman of Heartland FC witnessed many landmark innovations in football management and administration especially in the area of marketing and youth development.
He said since after leaving office, Bash has not relented in his effort at grassroot sports development culminating in his founding of such a big modern arena (Bashlyks Sports House) where various sporting activities including Football, Swimming, table tennis and volleyball etc. are played in the highbrow centre of Owerri, Imo state.
Anyansi – Agwu noted that Bash also runs a football academy which gives opportunities to many upcoming youths to develop their talents as well as gives support to many other football teams in the South east Zone.
He described Bashlyks Sports House and sports arena generally, as a modern trend in the evolving sports and hospitality business.

Bash Hails, Charges New NFF Board
Chairman of Owerri-based Bashlyks Sports House And Events Centre, Chief Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena a.k.a. Bash has congratulated newly elected Executive Board members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), President, Ibrahim Gusau and 1st Vice Chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu.
Bash who spoke on Tuesday night from Manchester City, United Kingdom where he is on vacation currently, said both Gusua and Anyansi have good pedigree to take Nigerian football to a greater height.
“First, I like to congratulate the new board led by, Alhaji Gusua and Chief Anyansi. These are people that have paid their dues in football administration in our country, Nigeria and not only them but other members of the board too have good antecedence. These are people that are familiar with the problems we have in football in Nigeria,” he stated.
“My belief is that they can get the job done given their antecedents. Honestly, there’s much work to be done for Nigeria to regain her place of pride in football,” he added.
The former Chairman of Heartland Football club of Owerri, said Gusua was a good ‘team player’ when he served as one of the board member of the Nigeria football federation–with Gusua then as the Chairman of Chairmen- and that the new president knows what it means to liberalize the game by carrying all stakeholders along in his programmes.
Bash suggested that the board should ‘take the bull by the horn’ by initiating reconciliation with all the aggrieved stakeholders in the football industry in Nigeria as well as the amendment of NFF rules in order to accommodate different interest groups especially during future elections.
He said the NFF Executive Board should consider a total reorganization of Nigerian football from grass root level to professional club side level and up to the national teams.
“Their election into the executive board is a big elevation and it raises hope but it also comes with enormous responsibility ,” he explained.
“The style, culture and outlook at the national teams must be re-tuned. Also, the league clubs must be turned into a profit making venture because there is no way we can continue to rely on government sponsorship alone. The league must generate it’s own fund. The clubs should not depend solely on the government for fund and investors should have some good things to take home, “ he said.
