Before you copy an ad, ask yourself this:

❌ Does it shame the customer?
❌ Does it sound unserious?
❌ Does it repeat the problem instead of the result?
❌ Does it have discounts with no urgency?
❌ Does it have a weak CTA?

If yes — don’t copy it.

Bad copy doesn’t just fail.
It pushes buyers away.

Respect the audience.
Sell the transformation.
Create urgency.

That’s how ads convert.

Singer songwriter Bob Dylan penned these lyrics in 1963.

Sure, I wasn’t born in 1963, but I was trawling Youtube one day looking for old melodies to listen to when I stumbled on the song and it made an impression.

And guess what?

Even though those lyrics were written in 1963, they are as true today as they were then, because truly, the times are changing. In fact, as you already know, the only thing you can count on in this life is change.

It is always constant, and it will never going away.

Now, some people hate change. Others embrace it. Still others, foolish they are I might add, are totally complacent and couldn’t care less one way or another.

Where do you fit?

Where you benefit from change or it wrecks you is determined by how you react to it.

So…

When the economy falters, how do you react?

When you face a job loss, how do you react?

When the Govt steals your pension to fund their frivolities, how do you react?

When a relationship falls apart, how do you react?

When a new venture doesn’t pan out, how do you react?

When an investment doesn’t return anticipated profit, how do you react?

There’s only one of two choices - (1) RUN or FOLD and dies which are the same thing

OR…

(2) Dissect the situation, figure out why it happened/is happening, then chart a new plan of action.
