THE RHYTHM BEGINS: PRESERVING KALABARI CULTURE, ONE DANCE AT A TIME, ONE GROUP AT A TIME, REPRESENTING THE CLANS OF KALABARI KINGDOM.

Our maiden organizers’ meeting was a powerful gathering of minds, ideas, and passion for preserving the rich heritage of Kalabari people.
We brainstormed, shared visions, and laid the foundation for a spectacular traditional dance competition that will celebrate our culture and of course our identity as Kalabari people.

Expect captivating traditional rhythms, beautiful vibrant costumes, energetic dance performances emerging from the local talking drum of our fathers, calling the true spirit of Kalabari heritage.

This competition will bring together talented dancers, communities, and culture enthusiasts in a celebration of , dance, unity, and tradition.

ANTICIPATE: FROM KALABARI ROOTS TO THE WORLD STAGE

As we eagerly anticipate the UPCOMING KALABARI TRADITIONAL DANCE COMPETITION, we are reminded once again of the beauty, strength, and richness of our cultural heritage.

Today, we proudly stand with Tamunosoye Karibi George one of our own, a kalabari Daughter, as she takes the Miss World stage tonight to represent Nigeria. Her journey is more than a personal achievement; it is a reflection of the strength of our women, the richness of our heritage, and the pride we carry as a people.

From the heart of the Niger Delta to the global stage, she carries a piece of home with her. In the same spirit, our Kalabari dancers will soon take the stage to showcase the rhythm, elegance, traditions, and cultural identity that make our people unique.

Let us continue to support, celebrate, and promote our own. We wish Tamunosoye Karibi George the very best tonight. May she shine brightly, make Nigeria proud, and, by God’s grace, return home with the crown!
