Whether you're planning your first event or your tenth, these are the signs that should make you pause before booking a vendor.
1️⃣ They only talk about payment, not your event.
A good vendor wants to know about your vision, guest count, venue, timeline, and expectations. If the conversation starts and ends with money, pay attention.
2️⃣ Their answers are always vague.
"Don't worry." "It'll be fine."
- Their quotation is vague. If costs, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities aren't clearly stated, expect surprises later.
Confidence is great, but professionals provide clarity, not just reassurance.
