I always believe that it is better to start anyhow rather than not starting at all.

Most successes doesn't come over night, but they come over time.

Its September already, children's school fees is already a mountain for may people, especially widows and single mums. It is well.

Being skilled is a sure way to end financial lack. It's OK to be desperate about getting a skill.

When she called me last Friday to book for Meat pies. I quickly asked her:

Me: When do you want to pick them?
Client: Sunday by 6:00am.
Me: You say...?
Client: 6:00am
Me: OK, no problem.

Immediately I drop the the call "I know say wahala dey ooh".

To deliver fresh tasty meat pie by 6:00am means I had to start working between 2:00 to 3:00am...

Chai... my sleep ooh. Early morning sleep in this cold weather "dey enter wella".

Am happy I delivered.

Hot Cripsy meat pie is the real deal. To get a crispy meat pie. Do the following.

1. Put the right quantity of butter.

2. Don't knead the dough to the point of being elastic.

Enjoy with your favourite drink. Cheers..

When she called me last Friday to book for Meat pies. I quickly asked her:

Spend your single days equipping yourself. Add value to yourself. Of course Bsc, BEd or HND certificates are no longer enough. Get skilled. Get one or more skills. Be passionate about it.

Don't ever think you have all the time in the world. Once you marry and "belle enter E no go easy again ooh".

Don't just Slay with your beauty, Slay with your Skills and poverty will flee from your unborn children.

My passion 2 ! ! !

So, yesterday I mentioned that some 5years ago I decided to attend a one month cake and snacks training in Enugu.

Was that training all that have made me till now? Of course not. But a good foundation was laid within that one month class. My mentor Mrs Ozioma Igboanugo (of Cozy Confec) did a great job. I will never forget one tip she gave me.

She said, "Chinenye, always look for opportunity to bake, instead of giving money to your friend that had a new baby, make cake and give them".

I ran with is advice. People around me always have cakes or snacks to eat....so you think I have all the money?... No. Every little money I get, I buy things and practice. I signed up for many paid and free online classes. I cannot count the number of hours I have spent on YouTube, and still do. Most importantly I practice and try out new things.

Through all this I understand what works and what doesn't. I fine tuned some Recipes. I enjoyed this journey, my progress became evident.

My Passion !

5 years ago, I left my comfort zone; my baby was about a year then, we travelled to Enugu from Warri(where we based then) to go and learn Cake and Snacks. It was a-One-month intensive class.

I will live to enjoy that singular decision. Over the years my passion keep getting better.

So many people have benefited from that my one decision.... We have made lots of amazing cakes and small chops...also we have mentored many (both offline and Online)to do the same.

I live my dreams...




This still sends butterflies in my stomach...lol
