The woman, Kassandra, claims she only intended to cause a miscarriage. She admits to lacing juice and oranges with a toxic substance, insisting her goal was to end the pregnancy, not to cause a fatal outcome.

The deception began 5 months ago. Kassandra approached the wife, Mrs. Emmanuela, with a tearful confession. She claimed she had no idea the man she was dating was married with two children. She begged for forgiveness, and Mrs. Emmanuela a woman known for her kindness chose to forgive her & move on.

Exploiting this kindness, Kassandra the side chick, asked to be friends. Mrs. Emmanuela, who was five months pregnant at the time, accepted. Over the following months, they became close. Kassandra visited frequently, bringing gifts and acting like a supportive friend and confidante. By her eighth month of pregnancy, Mrs. Emmanuela began feeling strange. she suffered from constant exhaustion and sharp pains in her lower abdomen.

She dismissed these as normal pregnancy symptoms until the day she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital in a coma. Medical professionals were initially confused by her condition. However, a toxicology screen eventually found traces of a lethal chemical in her system. The investigation quickly pointed toward Kassandra, who had been bringing "gifts" of fresh juice and fruit every week.

After five days of fighting for her life in a coma, Mrs. Emmanuela passed away. Tragically, the unborn baby did not survive either. Kassandra went on the run for two weeks before the police finally tracked her down. During her interrogation, Kassandra admitted she had been trying to end the pregnancy for months. She claimed the substances she put in the food were only meant to cause a miscarriage, and she is now pleading for the family’s mercy.

Mrs. Emmanuela leaves behind a grieving husband and two young children, ages five and three. A truly heartbreaking reminder that not everyone who smiles at you is your friend.'

A Wedding That Never Happened
This one is close to my heart😢

It was on 7th of October 2025
Uyai my neighbor’s fiancé, Emediong, both we're supposed to get married the next day.
The house was already full of joy — laughter, food, final wedding plans. Everyone was counting hours. Our asoebi ready.
That evening, Eme as fondly called stepped out to have a small bachelor’s night with his friends. Nothing wild. Just young men laughing, talking about life, about marriage, about tomorrow.
But tomorrow never came for him.
Somewhere that night, armed men crossed his path., took all the his money, car yet took his life.😭😭
By morning, the news spread like a bad dream no one wanted to believe it😢
Could this be true, how, just how 😭
The wedding was replaced with tears.
The music stopped.
The bride that was meant to smile became a widow before saying “I do.”
What hurts the most is how close happiness was.
One night. Just one night away.

I’m reminded that life can change in a moment. Love, plans, and dreams can all be paused by things we don’t expect.
