12 TIPS FOR HAPPY STAY IN THE VILLAGE FOR
WOMEN

1. Buy all the food ingredients for cooking. Do not borrow when get to the village. They may mock you.
2. Try to get up in the morning as early as possible and come out of the room.
3. Buy something from the city for your father-in-law and your mother-in-law if you can.
4. Do not always go to your father's house if it is not far to avoid gossip.
5. Maintain good relationships with brothers and sisters of your husband especially the girls. Your sadness may start with them.
6. Do not make mistakes when it is your turn to cook or give excuses.
7. Do not insist on having a different kitchen if you do not have your own house and the family is still cooking together.
8. Allow your children to play with others and do not over-protect them.
9. Do not quarrel with any member of the family for others may gang-up against you.
10. Go to extended families and neighbours to greet fellow women and others when you have chance.
11. Try to be present if there is a family meeting or prayers.
12. Do not tell them that your husband does not love you or that his business is having setbacks.
