There's No Born Leaders!

Leadership happens as a result of willingness and opportunity to accept, commit and serve people, directly and indirectly.

However, those who had led in the past and probably still leading, have garned hands-on-desk practical leadership experiences, skills and followership orientations, which contributes to more opportunities to serve, by election and selection and appointment.

Now, this here's the bait.

A predecessor may not necessarily be a successful leader compared to the successor, not until the results and fruits of the successor's leadership cm followership scorecards are presented, compared and the facts becomes obvious. Though, ongoing activities can be a statement and points to arrive at some partial judgements but can't and shouldn't be a total conclusion.

Likewise, a predecessor can be a successful leader compared to the successor.

When and whereby the predecessor didn't perform well, the successor still needs to ask his/her predecessor some pertinent and prevalent questions as he/she assumes the leadership position, responsibilities, role and duties.

Except where there's no access granted to the successor by the predecessor, it's almost totally unavoidable- no matter how the predecessor failed, that asking questions should be ignored.

This is because the truthful, tactful and most sincere questions asked can be the nudge and pointers to doing true leadership, successfully.

Yes,

The act of asking questions is the source of all knowledge.
