A customer reached out to book 60 plates and 60 spoons for an event. Everything was arranged and ready for pickup.
About an hour later, another call came in Please, we need an additional 40 plates and 40 spoons.
No problem at all! We quickly added the extra items, making it 100 plates and 100 spoons in total.
Then the person they sent to pick up the items arrived.
This is where the funny part started. 😂
He confidently told me that the second batch alone was already 100 pieces. I was just looking at him in surprise. I asked myself, "How did we jump from adding 40 pieces to suddenly having 100?"
Instead of arguing, I simply smiled and said, "Let's count them together."
We started recounting one by one, and guess what? The numbers were exactly as we packed them.
Every item is counted carefully before it leaves our hands because once it returned, we carefully recount again.

There is nothing as beautiful as celebrating someone you truly care about. ❤️
Two best friends share the same birthday, but one of them decided to make the day extra special.
Guess what? A friend all the way from Abuja contacted me to help make the surprise happen. She carefully picked out a beautiful hair care package and way billed it from Abuja to me so I could deliver it on her behalf with cake and chops.
When the birthday girl received the surprise, she couldn't hold back her tears. She was completely overwhelmed with joy. 🥹❤️

Yesterday, I visited a hospital in New Heaven Enugu and honestly, what I saw broke my heart.
Seeing young fine people battling mental health challenges was deeply emotional. Watching some parents cry because of what their children were going through made me realize how precious our lives and choices truly are.
It reminded me that we should never joke with our mental health.
To every young person out there, please protect your future. Stay away from hard drugs. No temporary pleasure is worth your peace, your dreams, or the pain it can bring to your family.
May God protect our youths and give strength to every family facing this battle. 🙏

I went to church this morning expecting nothing more than to worship God, but I left with a powerful reminder about responsibility.

I heard that someone came into the church and started removing 2 of the air conditioners. The security man saw him and did the right thing by asking what he was doing.

Surprisingly, the man confidently replied, “I’m here to repair it.”

Sadly, the security man accepted the explanation without confirming it with the Rev. Father or any church authority. He simply allowed him to continue.

Later, it was discovered that the man wasn’t repairing anything, he was allegedly trying to steal the AC.

When the Rev. Father found out what had happened, he stopped the security man from working. Not because he asked a question, but because he failed to complete his responsibility. As a security officer, it is not enough to ask questions; you must also verify. A simple phone call or confirmation could have prevented the whole incident.

This made me realize that trust is good, but verification is better. Not everyone who speaks confidently is telling the truth. Some people wear confidence like a uniform to deceive others.

May we never become careless in the duties entrusted to us. Whether at work, in business, or in our daily lives, let us learn to verify before we believe and confirm before we act.

One small act of negligence can lead to a great loss.

SHE SURVIVED A LIFE-THREATENING DELIVERY... ONLY TO LOSE HER MARRIAGE. 💔

It was around 8 p.m. when two w0men rushed into the hospital with a young pregnant w0man.

She was in labour.

They told us she had been trying to deliver at home since morning.

Hours had passed.

She was exhausted.

And when I looked at her, I could see it.

She was just 19 years old.

We immediately admitted her and assessed her.

The baby's heartbeat was reassuring.

But when we examined her, we found the problem.

Her cervix was dilated, but her pelvis was too small for the baby to pass through.

It was obstructed labour due to a contracted pelvis.

There was no safe way to continue waiting for a v@ginal delivery.

We explained to the family that she needed an emergency Caesarean section.

They were worried, but eventually agreed.

Then they said,

"We need to call her husband."

I asked where he was.

They told me he had left very early that morning to go to work.

They called him.

We explained the situation.

He said,

"Wait for me. I'll come."

So we waited.

Minutes passed.

Then more time passed.

This young woman was still in labour.

Already exhausted.

And we knew that prolonged obstructed labour could become d@ngerous for both mother and baby.

They called him again.

No answer.

We called him.

No answer.

Eventually, we asked the w0man herself if she was willing to give consent for the surgery.

She refused.

"I want to wait for my husband."

We explained that we could not continue waiting indefinitely because there were risks to both her and the baby.

Since the husband was still not coming, we told the family that we would have to refer her to another hospital.

That was when her mother asked:

"Can I sign the consent for her?"

We told her yes.

She agreed.

Her mother signed the consent.

The young w0man was taken into theatre.

The Caesarean section was performed.

And thankfully...

The baby cried. ❤️

The mother was also stable.

For a moment, everything seemed to have ended well.

Until the husband arrived the next day.

The moment he heard that his wife had undergone a Caesarean section...

All hell broke loose.

He was .

"Why didn't you wait for me?"

Then he asked to see the doctor who performed the surgery.

When he came into the office and saw that the doctors involved were m3n...

His ang3r became even worse.

He couldn't understand why his wife had undergone a Caesarean section without him being there and why male doctors had performed the surgery.

We explained everything.

We explained the obstructed labour.

We explained why waiting indefinitely was unsafe.

But he was furious.

He left.

Then, several hours later, he returned with a group of m3n.

It was only after they left that one of the nurses told me something that shocked me.

He had come to pronounce d1vorce on his wife.

That was actually the first time I heard that d1vorce could be pronounced orally and that it could have legal or religious consequences.

A w0man who had just undergone a Caesarean section.

A w0man who had just given birth to his son.

A w0man who had survived a potentially dangerous labour.

Instead of celebrating that both mother and baby were alive...

She spent the rest of her admission sad and withdrawn.

Her siblings eventually came, settled her bills, and took her home after three days.

And I remember thinking...

How can a w0man survive childbirth and still leave the hospital wondering what awaits her at home?

This story taught me several things.

To parents...

Please don't rush your daughters into marriage before they are physically, emotionally and socially ready for it.

This was a 19-year-old girl.

She had not even been receiving antenatal care.

And she ended up in prolonged obstructed labour.

To w0men preparing for marriage...

Please have difficult conversations before you say "I do."

Talk about pregnancy.

Talk about childbirth.

Talk about Caesarean section.

Ask your prospective husband what he thinks about CS.

Ask him what he would do if doctors said a Caesarean section was necessary to save your life or your baby's life.

Don't assume you already know his answer.

Because when an emergency happens...

You may not have time to discover his beliefs.

And to the m3n...

Please understand that childbirth is not child's play.

Your wife may need you more than ever during that period.

Be present.

Listen.

Support her.

And when doctors recommend an intervention because they believe it is necessary, ask questions but don't allow pride, cultural beliefs, or personal preferences to put your wife or baby at unnecessary risk.

A Caesarean section is not a failure.

It is not an ab0mination.

It is not a measure of how strong a w0man is.

Sometimes, it is simply the safest way to bring a baby into the world.

That night, I was grateful.

The mother survived.

The baby survived.

But I couldn't stop thinking about what might happen after they left the hospital.

Because sometimes...

Saving a w0man's life in the theatre is only the beginning of the b@ttle. 💔
