This was 2021 when I was still learning how to bake and cover a cake neatly. I had great teachers who taught me well.
I think this was my second attempt at covering a cake with buttercream, my first attempt was June 2021 a few days to my birthday, I had just started learning, I'm not sure it was up to 2 weeks when I started learning and I was soooo desperate to bake and cover my birthday cake myself 🤣🤣. Infact it was part of the reason I went to the baking school in the first place, so I could bake my birthday cake that year, I went as far as borrowing money from a dear friend who was also a serving copper like me then, with the hope to pay back once allawe enters, all because I just wanted to start learning before my birthday. She gladly gave me.
Oremi if you are reading this, I want you to know that I am grateful and I love you ❤️

I don't have the picture of my first cake, the phone I used in snapping it at that time got bad and I couldn't fix it, if you see that cake, I mean my own birthday cake, you will laugh and start rolling on the floor🤣🤣🤣🤣. When I presented it to my boss she said I did well, but me I know what I did was something else.
How I wish I can get that picture 😂.
