Ladies… this is your sign to always greet your parents’ visitors properly. 😂 You honestly never know which African uncle has already started drawing your wedding timeline in his head. 🤭

This love story didn’t begin on a dating app.
No “Hey, beautiful.”
No “Can I know you?”
No “I saw you on Instagram.”
It started with an African uncle doing what African uncles do best… minding everybody’s marital status.

One day, Chigozie’s uncle paid a casual visit to the Obiajulu family (bride’s family)
Clair came out to greet everyone with her beautiful smile, and Uncle immediately said in his mind,
“This one has wife material written all over her.” 😂
As a responsible African uncle, he got home and called his nephew:
“I’ve seen your wife. You’re welcome.”
No long talk, Chigozie trusted Uncle’s vision and went to “plug flower” (our Nigerian way of saying, “I’m interested in your daughter”).

Being the gentleman he is, he showed up with a lovely hamper…
Only for them to say…
“She’s not at home.” 😂
Some people would’ve collected their hamper and disappeared.
Not our groom! 😎
This man came back another day… with ANOTHER hamper! 👏😂
Talk about consistency!
This time, Clair was home, introductions were made, numbers were exchanged… and as they say, the rest is history. ❤️

Now these two are proof that when love is intentional, it grows into something truly beautiful. Watching how they care for each other and go the extra mile to make one another happy has been nothing short of heartwarming.

And can we take a moment to appreciate Uncle?
Someone give that man the “Best Matchmaker of the Year” award, please! 🏆🤣

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing bride’s mum, Mrs. Obiajulu. Thank you for being a client, friend, and mentor to CianaEvents for over 6 years. It’s an absolute honor to be trusted once again with such a special family celebration.

This week, we’re celebrating as they begin their forever.

Today, we celebrate the joy, creativity, and beautiful spirit of every child. 💜
