Dr. Zhao is an internationally recognised expert in sustainable molluscan shellfish aquaculture, with extensive experience in oyster and clam production, selective breeding, shellfish health, climate-resilient aquaculture, environmentally sustainable farming systems, production optimisation and technology transfer. His work has focused on translating scientific research into practical solutions that improve shellfish production and promote sustainable aquaculture.
