That's right! The delivery price is included in the listed price. We are delivering twice a month to Penang, and all the time in Kulim.

Place your orders starting today till 5th Feb and receive them the week of CNY 2021, from 8th Feb onwards. We will only be baking TEN of each available for order so get them quick to avoid disappointment. We deliver to BM, Butterworth, and Penang Island (delivery fee applies).

Just as Fake News is out of season, fake ingredients must go too! Our vanilla extract is homemade, made with Papua New Guinean vanilla beans and top shelf rum + whiskey. We have also switched from refined white sugar to organic unrefined palm sugar (hence the price increase). We also only use free range chicken eggs and premium flour.

| MOUSSE CAKE |

While we haven't been baking big batches of cheesecakes, we have been experimenting with different mousse recipes.

Our mousse cakes are eggless, and have a gluten free option. Light peanut butter mousse on a cookie oat crumble base, covered with a decadent layer of chocolate ganache, topped with cookie crumbs or nuts and fruit.

I have some sad news, friends.

Due to more freelance work coming in the next few months, I have to put my full time home baking stint on hold till 2021

For 2 months, I baked almost daily. In 8 weeks, I baked close to 90 cakes and it was most definitely a challenge that I enjoyed working on. I still have 12 cakes to sell though, so help me spread the word as I enter a season of hiatus.

I won't be "shutting down" completely - you can still expect me to post pictures of new bakes and experimental flavors, and even taking orders on the weekends. It's just not going to be part of my daily routine for the next 6 months.

I'm an ALL-IN kind of person and I want to give my full attention to my copywriting and intercultural consulting freelance work.

Thank you for all your support and I am so grateful for everyone who bought a Bake News Co. creation. You can be sure when I'm back in 2021, I will have more delicious treats to sell.

If there were vintage years for durians, 2020 would definitely be such a year. Overall, durians harvested this season have proven superior in quality, texture, and flavor than previous seasons.

As durian season enters its final week this week, Bake News Co. is bidding the season farewell with a special promotion. We are baking all of our Durian Burnt Cheesecakes this week from an exceptional batch of Musang King freshly harvested from Raub, Pahang on Thursday (July 9th).

Each cheesecake weighs ~700g of rich creamy durian batter, with an additional 200g of chunky durian. The price is RM92/cake.

Next week, we are offering 8 Musang King Durian Burnt Cheesecake (RM 92) to mark the end of the Musang King harvest season. Each of our 7.5 inch Durian Burnt Cheesecakes weighs between 800g to 850g, not including 200g of Musang King durian.

The Musang King durians we use are harvested in Raub, Pahang.

This week's Durian Burnt Cheesecake contains a mix of 6 different durian species!

The 6 durian species are:
- Black Thorn
- Musang King
- Red Prawn
- Red Arowana (relatively new species to Penang)
- D-15
- G***a (not the plant🙉🙊🙈)

With the exception of Musang King, all other durians were harvested fresh this morning (3/7) from an orchard in Balik Pulau.

I only have TWO more Durian Burnt Cheesecakes available this week (only for KL customers). Get yours for a steal at only RM85!!

I have been so overwhelmed by all the support I have received. 😭😭 Thank you everyone who ordered my bakes. I promise to keep developing recipes for delicious cakes.

This week (22/6 - 28/6), I will be taking a break, after baking over 60 cakes in the past 21 days. 🙀🙀 But I will be back on 29/6, ready to bake up more delicious treats.
