Last Friday we catered for St Joseph's Institution International School who hosted a fundraiser for Samaritan Hope Home at Pudu. The fundraiser was to provide funds for the home's soup kitchen, feeding the needy and the homeless. As part of SJII's Founders day, parents sold Lapar Sets, and 100% of funds derived from this run is donated to the Home to buy dry goods for their soup kitchen.

A parent had ordered from us 40 packs of VJmade's Hydrabadi Chicken Biryani, which came with long grain rice, marinated chicken, hard boiled eggs and raita. We added a small container of sambar (dhall) as well.

So glad all the packs were sold and the buyers enjoyed the lunch packs.

Here's what we served from our humble kitchen the past two weeks.

For Easter we served, pork vindalo, Japanese potato salad, lasagna, roast chicken, Mutton bone dalcha, and ghee rice.

Last Saturday we made Hydrabadi Chicken Biryani with Mutton bone dalcha.

Catered for a birthday party yesterday. We made chicken burgers using VJmade's homemade chicken patties. A combination of egg-mayo and cheese and chicken ham sandwiches, VJmade's homemade chicken nuggets and plump delicious baked blueberries cheese tartlets.

It's been sometime since I posted. I have been very busy with our new brand and store Stationery Box and the kids at home. But I have been catering here and there as well. Small and private events, especially for clients who have been with me since the dawn of VJmade. I just haven't been posting about these caterings. One such catering is what I did over last weekend.

Last week, we had two seperate orders for desserts

Returning client Chris ordered our fresh fruit tarts. We fill our Butter tart shells with silky smooth creme patisserie that we make at home. Top this with fresh berries.

Ms Gwen ordered our creamy Panna Cottas. She ordered cups of Pannacottas with strawberry compote and smooth chocolate. Both are topped with fresh berries.

A short trip to Maz International School in Klang to deliver our trays of sandwiches and fresh fruit tarts, yesterday.

All our sandwich filling are made at home from scratch with premium ingredients. Our homemade creme patisserie is rich, velvety and buttery topped with fresh berries sitting on a crunchy buttery tart shell.
