Three nights, three stages, countless memories. That’s a wrap for Legasi 2025! ✨

Our inaugural programme in Taiping brought people closer to heritage spaces through the power of music, and what an unforgettable journey it has been.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing performers, who travelled from across the states and poured their passion into curating unique experiences for each night. To our wonderful audience, thank you for being so warm, engaging, and sporting — you made Legasi truly special. You showed the beauty of Malaysia’s multicultural spirit.

It has been inspiring to witness our nation’s diversity come alive through music and community. Closing on Malaysia Day made the celebration even more meaningful. Until next time, thank you for being part of Legasi 2025. ❤️

The finale of LEGASI took place within the galleries of the Perak Museum yesterday night, where memory and music intertwined. Under the direction of Dr Ang Mei Foong, the Dendang Suara Serantau vocal ensemble presented a powerful programme that resonated through the museum halls. It was an unforgettable close to three evenings of music, heritage and community.

At Taiping Public Library, the second evening of LEGASI brought music back to the heart of the community. Local-born musicians and young students performed pieces that shaped their musical journeys, filling the historic reading room with saxophone, flugelhorn, clarinet, flute and
piano. 🎹

The night carried both intimacy and inspiration, showing how mentorship and tradition continue to grow together.
