Realigning our work with intention with Shaykh Gyasi Mckinzie and brother Mohamed Samael

We once again revisit the reason why we did what we did thanks to Shaykh Gyasi Mckinzie's visit, along with his wife and brother Mohamed Samael, to our office.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Shaykh Gyasi accepted Islam while still in high school in 1991. He later pursued Islamic studies at the Islamic University of Madinah and also earned a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University.

During his visit, he shared his insights on how Allah (s.w.t.) makes it possible for his servants to contribute to the ummah regardless of their field of expertise. His words were a meaningful reminder that truly resonated with us, and we are deeply grateful for him.

May Allah (s.w.t.) be pleased with our encounter and continuously instil upon us the intention to do good by others, Ameen.

The journey of Hajj reflects the fleeting nature of this worldly life, while the gathering of millions of pilgrims serves as a powerful reminder of the Day when all of humanity will stand before our Creator on the Day of Judgment.

Life through His guidance

Every believer is fated to experience moments of joy and difficulty. Through it all, it is necessary that we return to the Quran for His holy guidance in navigating these moments with His favour. Indeed, He is al-Latif, whose knowledge encompassess all of His servants’ affairs, both known and hidden.

May Allah (s.w.t.) guide us to remain in the straight path no matter the circumstance that we walk through our lives.

The Trip of a Lifetime 🕋

Maybe, the reason some of us delay our umrah is because we lack the knowledge to prepare ourselves and for the journey.

But in actuality, it is the effort we put into making the preparations that matters.

As long as we strive to give our all and trust in His plan, surely He will make ease for His servants with sincere intention to worship him, inshaAllah.

May He grant us the blessing of stepping foot in the blessed city of Makkah and may He accept our Umrah with His infinite grace and mercy.
