🌸 Painted by Pain, Defined by Purpose: My Journey to EOU Vilash Artistry 🌸
In the quiet town of Seremban 🏡, I was just a girl with dreams far bigger than the walls around me ✨. I didn’t know then how much I’d have to break, bend, and rebuild to bring those dreams to life 💔➡️💪.
After finishing Form 6 in 2001 🎓, I was filled with hope, waiting eagerly for my university offer letter 📩. But fate had other plans...
One morning, while riding pillion with my grandfather on our way to work 🛵👴, we met with a terrible accident. I suffered a spinal fracture from D10 to L1 🏥. It wasn’t just my back that cracked — my sense of stability, my confidence, my future... everything shattered 💔.
After months of recovery 😷🛏️, I entered Universiti Utara Malaysia with the pain still lingering, and graduated in 2008 🎓 with a degree in Risk Management (Hons). But stepping out into the world wasn’t easy. The economy was down 📉, and job after job rejected me ❌. My dreams of a career and financial freedom felt like they were slipping away 🫥.
But I didn’t give up 🙅♀️.
I took whatever jobs I could — healthcare 👩⚕️, logistics 🚛, education 🏫, oil & gas ⛽, telecommunications 📞 — anything to stay afloat. Most were short-term. In between, I stayed home, praying 🙏, crying 😢, hoping something would finally click.
Then one day in 2012, a spark 🔥.
My sister’s friend asked me about bridal makeovers 💄. Something inside me lit up. I remembered how I used to do makeup, mehendi & saree draping for family on special occasions 💕. I never thought it could be a career… but something told me — maybe it was meant to be ✨.
With barely any savings 💸, but with my sister’s faith in me 💗, I jumped.
Every weekend, I travelled from Seremban to KL 🚗 for classes. Weekdays, I worked 9–5. Weekends, I had clients. Seven days a week. No rest 😮💨. But every smile, every “Wow, is that really me?” from a bride... it healed me 🪄👰♀️.
💫 Makeup was never just makeup to me.
It was prayer 🕊️.
It was healing 🌿.
It was honouring the divine beauty in every woman 👑.
I found my signature in natural tones 🌾. I fell in love with dusky skin tones — so often overlooked, yet to me, rich, radiant, and powerful ✨💛.
For 8 years, I worked as a freelance artist — one bride 👰, one brushstroke 🖌️, one transformation at a time. Then, in 2020, I opened my very own makeup studio 🏢 with a heart full of courage and gratitude 💖.
The space was my soul in physical form — calm 🧘🏽♀️, warm ☕, and grounded 🌱. Clients came through word-of-mouth 🗣️, social media 📱, and referrals — drawn not only to my work but to my energy.
But in 2024, everything changed 💔.
Someone I trusted like family 🤝 betrayed me. In March 2025, I had to walk away from the studio I built with my sweat, tears, and prayers 😔.
The betrayal left scars 😢, but it didn’t take away my truth.God knows 🙏 and I know —the sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the hustling, the planning, the faith it took to build it 🕯️💼.
I walked away with my head high not out of pride, but out of strength 💪👑.
Because what I built wasn’t just a business.
It was love ❤️.
It was legacy 🌟.
And no one can ever take that from me.

💫 Today, I return to my roots — as a Freelance Makeup Artist once again.
But this isn’t starting over.
This is starting anew — with deeper wisdom 🧠, clearer vision 👁️, and a heart that still burns with passion 🔥.
💄 My hands still hold magic.
❤️ My heart still holds fire.
🌺 And my purpose has never been clearer.
This is not just makeup.
This is soul work.
This is healing through beauty.
This is me helping women rise, love themselves, and feel divine 🌹✨.
This is EOU Vilash Artistry.
And this… is only the beginning
