Those little displays and k***s — to the audience, they’re just tiny lights on a dark surface. To an engineer, they’re the first whispers of the room.
+2 dB at 5.6 kHz → “Give the vocal a bit more bite, help it cut through.”
+1 dB at 3.5 kHz → “A touch of clarity, the words sharpening into focus.”
–2 dB at 371 Hz → “The mud pulled away, the space opening up again.”
