💥 Enough with the excuses. Enough with the condolences.
Another tragic accident. More young lives lost. And again—silence, deflection, or worse—relief that it didn’t happen “under my watch.”
You cannot call yourself a responsible leader if you read about the UPSI bus crash and your first reaction is political self-preservation. If you feel safe simply because it wasn’t your program, your jurisdiction, your ministry.
This isn’t about bad luck. It’s about bad systems. And it’s not new.
🚨 How many more must die before we say strict liability?
🚨 How many tragedies until enforcement isn’t just reactive, but real?
🚨 How many times do we recycle committees, condolences, and ceremonial empathy?
This is not about blame—it’s about accountability. I salute Rafizi Ramli for having the decency to take responsibility when it mattered. Who’s next?
Because if you’re more worried about jaga hati , jaga undi , jaga periuk nasi than jaga nyawa, you shouldn’t be in leadership.
