Learn firsthand from Aunty Patricia, who manages Long Tuma Ceramic Beads Centre in Lawas, Sarawak. This hands-on session lets you roll, paint, and design your own unique ceramic bead accessory — with a modern twist.

We’re so excited to finally launch our very first program:
🌿✨ ROOTS: A Craft Journey Across Generations ✨🌿

ROOTS is a hands-on, intergenerational program that brings together youth and seniors to explore Sarawak’s traditional materials — like bamboo, beads, clay, shells, and textiles — and turn them into meaningful everyday products.

Over 5 meetups, participants will:
💎 Learn hands-on skills from experienced artisan mentors
💎 Design a modern product inspired by heritage materials
💎 Explore product design, packaging, branding, and storytelling

✨ Your name will be featured in our official product brochure
✨ Selected designs will be produced by our senior artisan community
✨ You’ll walk away with friendships, inspiration, and creative collaborators for life

🗓️ Program Duration: July–November 2025 (exact dates in registration form)

ROOTS is a hands-on program that connects youth and seniors to explore traditional Sarawakian materials like bamboo, clay, shells, beads, and textiles — and turn them into beautiful everyday products!

Led by experienced artisans, participants will learn through workshops, storytelling, and product design sessions.

🗓️ Program Duration: 5 meetups from July to November 2025 (Exact dates in registration form)

Pangiah Beads Workshop successfully conducted by Kak Lulu from LilaLuna Story, a modern bead jewellery maker from Miri.

Using her design, 5 participants manage to learn skills in making pangiah and complete their pangiah before the days end! It was a fun afternoon at the studio and thank you for endless support to Landik

We’re adding PANGIAH BEADS WORKSHOP to our line-up. Pangiah is a multi‑layered, colorful bead necklace traditionally worn by Bidayuh women as part of their ceremonial attire, now evolved into a cherished cultural symbol and fashion piece for celebrations, cultural dinners, and daily wear.

Conducted by Kak Lulu from Lilaluna Story, she will be teaching us how to make a Modern Pangiah.

Small Pouch Weaving Workshop ✨

Successfully conducted by aunty Helen from Baram with participants from various age group and gender. Super proud to see the varied crowd and keeping the technique!

Participants get to cut their own strands, further divide it to become thinner and weave from scratch. Other than Small Pouch, some choose to take on a challenge and weave a bottle holder. From 2 hours to 4 hours, some participants manage to complete their piece (swipe photos) ✨
