Gerak tari Makyong- “Liuk lintok terkulai balai” dalam dialek Kelantan menggambarkan pergerakan atau keadaan yang lembut, lentur, dan penuh keanggunan. Untuk memperincikan maksudnya:
• Liuk: Membengkok atau melentur dengan lembut, seperti dahan ditiup angin.
• Lintok: Gerakan yang lentur atau berayun secara perlahan dan lemah-lembut.
• Terkulai: Gantung longlai atau terjuntai tanpa kekuatan.
• Balai: Dalam konteks ini, merujuk kepada gaya atau keadaan yang menonjolkan keindahan atau seni – kadang-kadang juga digunakan sebagai kiasan untuk pergerakan dalam persembahan seperti tarian.
