So, you may or may not know this, but I’m still a photographer. I work with couples a lot, basically capturing their love stories.

I might come off as quiet most of the time, and maybe I seem like I’m just doing my job, but what I really want is for people to feel like I’m there as a friend, not just a photographer. Deep down, I’m always taking mental notes about the couples I meet. I genuinely care about their feelings and expressions, because those things show up in the photos I take. I think I have a bit of a gift for that, maybe it’s the Capricorn in me, haha. But I like to call it my hidden superpower.

So here’s and her loved one. (YES!! She makes pretty stamps, stationery fans!)

I noticed that they’re pretty shy and a little awkward in front of the camera. They're not used to being in the spotlight like this. So I just stayed casual and chill, keeping it light, and quickly captured those tiny, silly, goose-y moments between them. I didn’t want to force anything, and thankfully, they were super sweet and just let me snap away.

These are just some shots I wanted to share with you. Now go buy her stamps and keep her busy :)

After the wedding assignment, I packed my bags, rented a car, went on a solo trip. Droved around, hiked, skydived, soaked in an onsen, and shot some film on my Leica M6. Just collecting memories to print later and paste into my travel journal. One of the best solo trips I’ve done 😌 Journal flipthrough video on Youtube 📷

A brutal 10-hour trek to Kongmaru La, 5,260m. The kind of altitude where your thoughts go quiet. Zanskar peaks in front of me, then one last look from the plane window.

Shot on my Leica M6, all on film, it slows everything down, makes each frame count.

I made a book from this journey. It sold out. And I haven't touched a roll this year… maybe it’s time again.

When Justin emailed saying he was flying to Malaysia to meet his long-distance girlfriend, Tarsha, and asked if I could photograph them somewhere that felt real and authentic, I said, “Sure, I think I’ve got just the spot.”

So, why Jane The Crazy?
 I don’t think I’ve ever really explained the nickname I chose. It just sounded wild, and every time someone found out about it, it gave them a surprise or a little shock.
But honestly, it means a lot of things.

I’m always curious. Curious about what might happen if I try something new. I’m always hungry. Hungry to create, to experiment, to see what works for me. I’m always passionate. Passionate about doing things I once thought I couldn’t. And I’m crazy. Crazy enough to have all these ideas, believe maybe I can do it, and actually try.

Sometimes, you just need to be hungry enough to spark something in life. Whether it works or not, you learn a lesson and do better next time.

That’s me, the simple one with all the crazy thoughts.

So yeah, I was feeling a bit uninspired… so I booked a flight and flew solo all the way from Malaysia to Portugal just to make these photos happen. (Shot on the Sony A7IV, btw.)
 Crazy, right? But it was so worth it, and I’m really glad I did it.

It was such an eye-opening experience to witness a mama sea turtle—about 1.1 meters long—laying her eggs on our very first night at 🐢🌊

The volunteer team from the was incredible, so quick and professional in protecting the eggs while keeping the mama safe and undisturbed.

I managed to take some videos and photos with my Sony A7iv that turned out looking like raw documentary footage. It was pitch black, and only red headlamps were allowed. I didn’t have one, so everything you see was captured using the volunteers’ red lights. 🎥🔴

These amazing humans work tirelessly to protect sea turtles... all without pay. 💚

Can’t wait to share more from this trip—relaxing beach days, scuba diving, and a bit of underwater photography too. 📸🌴
