Malawi Athletes Commission hosted a Comprehensive Anti-Doping Awareness Workshop at the Kamuzu Institute for Sports in Lilongwe, bringing together 60 participants from various sports disciplines.
They engaged in interactive sessions, case studies, and open discussions that strengthened their knowledge on the dangers of doping, WADA regulations, and the importance of competing clean.

Empowering Athletes Through Education and Integrity

The Malawi Athletes Commission will host a Comprehensive Anti-Doping Awareness Workshop on Saturday, 30 August 2025 at the Kamuzu Institute for Sports in Lilongwe.

The workshop will bring together athletes, coaches, and sports administrators to learn about the dangers of doping, understand WADA regulations, and gain insights from national and regional anti-doping experts. Interactive sessions, case studies, and open discussions will help participants understand the real-life implications of doping.

The Malawi Olympic Committee, with support from NIF under the Norad Capacity Building Initiative, will be hosting an Organizational Safeguarding Workshop on Friday, 29 August 2025 in Lilongwe.
This important workshop will focus on creating safer and stronger sports organizations in Malawi by improving safeguarding policies and awareness.We are honored to welcome safeguarding expert Mr. Musanje from Zambia, as our facilitator.
